Country City Gospel Ministries International was founded in 2019 with a vision that God showed me during the Covid-19 pandemic in India. “I saw many people die right in front of my eyes. Many children lost their parents and loved ones.“ This vision gave me a deeper love for the people of India. I went down on her knees in prayer to the Lord asking Him to guide my steps. On June 7th, 2019, I was waiting at a bus stop. A young man came to ask me to pray for him. I didn't know him, or why he wanted me to pray for him. Then he explained his situation to me. He lost his family to Covid. He was very sad and had no direction. The young man saw that I was carrying my Bible with me. In his Spirit, he felt that I was the right person to pray for him. I saw God's hand upon him. As soon as I prayed and said, “Amen”, that young man felt so much peace in his heart. He told me that God chose me to serve His Kingdom and to save many souls in this nation. I gave him my Bible and said, “Go forward and live your life with Christ.” After coming back to my home, I discussed what happened with my husband. For the next several days I was in prayer. One morning, I saw a vision in which I was preaching the Gospel. I shared my dream with my husband. On Sunday, I invited two of my friends to pray. They came along with their families, and this was the beginning of our ministry and church. it began with just seven people. India was officially closed because of Covid, yet God gave us the chance to share the gospel with the most unreached people and villagers. Every Sunday, we held a church service. By 2022 our members had increased by 42 people including children. There were many needs the people had that our ministry began working on; we assisted with medical care, groceries, and improving the houses in the slum areas. My main goal was to help the widows, orphans, and seniors. I was very much inspired by Mother Teresa.
In 2023, my beloved friend and sister, Mrs. Kristin Ausbon, who is the co-founder of Country City Gospel Ministries International, began working in partnership with this ministry. Her dedication and hard work brought this ministry to the next level. Kristin lives in North Carolina, in the United States, and works as a Christian Counselor. Her Faithful prayers and support have brought others closer to Christ, and now the church has increased to over 100 people. Our ministry became an international ministry because of the partnership of Kristin and her husband Christopher Ausbon.
